A few examples of variety in our music video styles

During COVID, we shot “social-distancing” music videos in front of green screens. Each band member was shot solo and the entire video was then pieced together as if they were together during the shooting. The following first 3 videos were shot that way.

THE JOANS - “Joan Crawford Goes To Hell”

This is the follow up to the "Mad at the Dirt" video by The Joans. As with the “Mad at the Dirt” video, this was an official selection for many film festivals worldwide.

THE JOANS - “Mad At The Dirt”

"Mad at the Dirt" by The Joans. A Chicago based rock band dedicated to giving Joan Crawford a rock and roll voice. Directed by Peter Neville of Image Control Unit. It was selected for Reeling 28 GLBT Film Festival in Chicago on Nov. 5-14th 2009 and was an official selection at 12 other festivals worldwide. Read more here. It has also made the #5 video in Logo’s NewNowNext music video’s Click List.

NEGATIVLAND - “Guns”

This video was made for experimental band Negativland. It was intentionally edited with stock footage clips similar to the bands’ music style. It was included in Negativland’s music video DVD anthology release, “Our Favorite Things”. Also, one of the bands’ founding members, Mark Hosler, has shown it around the world to various college venues discussing the gun subject.

JILT - “Jilt”

This video was made for a local goth/industrial/metal band from Chicago. The band’s name is JILT. The song’s name is Jilt.
